This policy applies to every Digital File you buy from us (e.g., EPUB, PDF, MP3, DOCX, XLXS, etc.). It explains when you can get a replacement, format swap, or refund, and what we need from you to help fast-track a resolution.

Because Digital File(s) are instantly deliverable and can’t be “returned” in the traditional sense, all sales are final once a download link is delivered or a download begins.

4.) How to request help (replacement, swap, or refund)

Response times: We aim to acknowledge within 1–2 business days and resolve most issues within 5 business days.
5.) Refund method & timing
When a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method (or to store credit if you choose), typically within 5–10 business days after approval. Your bank or card issuer controls the final posting time.
6.) EU/UK customers: digital-content withdrawal
If you are in the EEA or UK, you may have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance purchases of digital content. When you choose immediate download, you acknowledge delivery will begin right away and you may lose the statutory withdrawal right for that order to the extent permitted by law. If you do not consent to immediate download, we will delay access until your withdrawal period ends or provide a means to cancel during that period, consistent with applicable law.
7.) Security, malware, and integrity
We strive to deliver standards-compliant, malware-free files and test our Digital File(s) and Service on common systems. Because environments vary, we cannot guarantee behavior across all devices/apps. If you suspect a file integrity issue, contact us—we will replace any corrupted file or re-enable your download link within the 14-day window. See Product Standards page for more information.
8.) Chargebacks
If you believe your payment method was used without authorization, contact your bank and notify us at fraud@midlandprairie.com, subject line “Suspected Fraud.” We may suspend access to affected downloads while we investigate. Misuse of chargebacks (e.g., disputing a legitimate, delivered purchase) may result in account limits or termination.
9.) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. For material changes, we will post the new version and provide advance notice (e.g., a banner or account/email notice). The Last updated date above shows the current version.
10.) Your rights
This policy applies in addition to our Terms of Use. Nothing in this policy limits your non-waivable statutory rights (consumer, accessibility, or other mandatory protections) where they apply.
